Help Us Bring Our Schools and Communities Closer Together

27th April 2026

Do you love where you live? Do you know what makes your local area tick? At 糖心logo, we believe schools should sit at the very heart of the community. We know that when schools and neighbourhoods work together, everyone thrives.

Our "Co-creating Brighter Futures for All" strategy is our promise to you. One of our key "Turbo Boosters" is focusing on Society鈥攂oosting civic action to empower our communities to thrive. To help us achieve this, we are looking for passionate local people to join our Local Community Committee (LCC) across a number of our schools.

What is a Local Community Committee?

A Local Community Committee is a group of volunteers who meet once per term. They act as a bridge between the school and the local area. You do not need to be an expert in education to join. You just need to care about your community.

As an LCC Representative, you will:

  • Share your local knowledge to help us make better decisions.

  • Help us spot opportunities to bring the school and community together.

  • Connect the school with local groups, charities, health services, and employers.

Whether you work in healthcare, run a local club, lead a faith group, serve in the uniformed services, or simply know what matters to local people, we need your voice. Help us ensure our schools are truly community-led.

Join Our Resolutions Team

We are also looking for volunteers to support our panel work. This involves becoming a trained volunteer to assist with pupil exclusions and suspensions. We are proud that our suspension levels are already well below the national average, and your support helps us maintain a fair and inclusive environment for every child.

Interested?

Everything we do is driven by our moral purpose: to unlock the academic and personal potential of every child. By joining us, you help make this a reality for all our students.
